Capture templates¶
Excel templates the CIAL team can use to capture and deliver the operating information required to activate advanced campaign segmentation.
Each file includes three sheets: Instructions with the full guide, Template ready for capture with dropdowns and validations, and Example with reference data.
Base list for Lookalike audiences¶
A contact list that serves as a seed to build lookalike (similar) audiences in LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads. The higher the quality and volume of the list, the better the audience generated.
What to include?
- Active customers with an ongoing commercial relationship.
- Qualified opportunities that reached advanced pipeline stages.
- Closed-won leads from the last 12–24 months.
Recommended volume:
- LinkedIn: minimum 300 valid contacts (ideally 1,000+).
- Meta: minimum 100 valid contacts (ideally 1,000+).

ABM account list¶
A list of target companies used to build Account Lists in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and to feed manual segmentation in ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns. Each row is a company, not a person.
What to include?
- Strategic accounts with high closing potential (Tier A).
- Accounts in active pipeline where we want to amplify exposure.
- Lost accounts worth recovering.
- Lookalike-type accounts: companies with a profile similar to current customers.
Recommended volume:
- LinkedIn requires a minimum of 1,000 companies to activate the Matched Audiences > Company list audience. For smaller strategic lists (50–200 Tier A accounts), this is complemented with manual segmentation by industry, size, and role.

Campaign exclusion list¶
A list of accounts we do not want to target: direct competitors, current CIAL customers, and any account CIAL decides to exclude under internal policy. The list is loaded as an exclusion Company List in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and as Audience exclusion in Google Ads.
What to include?
- Direct competitors (the template ships with 23 obvious competitors identified by EON — confirm and add notes).
- Current CIAL customers (empty — captured by the client).
- Accounts with conflict of interest, ongoing negotiation, or policy exclusion (empty — captured by the client).

Privacy considerations¶
The completed files contain personal and commercial data. They must be treated in accordance with CIAL's Privacy Notice and applicable regulation (LFPDPPP in Mexico). Once uploaded to LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Business Manager, the data is hashed by the platform and not shared with third parties.
Store the files in a secure location and delete local copies after upload is confirmed.
